Candy Arena
π Overview
Candy Arena is a rotating survival platform shaped like a giant candy. The platform slowly rotates clockwise while candy cannons fire projectiles and tiles disappear under your feet. Cat Egg is widely considered the best character for this map due to its soft landing passive and fast recovery.
β οΈ Hazards: Candy cannon projectiles, disappearing tiles, rotating platform edges, shrinking boundary
π‘οΈ Survival Guide
Early game: Stay on the outer edge. Let the chaos in the center eliminate other players.
Mid game: Move inward as tiles start disappearing. Use the candy cannon timing to position yourself.
Late game: Center platform is the safest. Save shield power-ups for the final moments.
π Pro Tips
- Cat Egg's soft landing is invaluable when tiles disappear beneath you
- The candy cannons fire every 10 seconds with a 2-second sparkle warning
- Move in the opposite direction of the rotation to stay centered
- Disappearing tiles follow a set order β learn it in practice mode
- When only 3-4 players remain, the center platform is safest
β‘ πͺ Candy Cane Skip
The Candy Cane Skip is the most important shortcut on Candy Arena. Near the center of the map, there's a giant candy cane structure. Instead of going around it, bounce off the top of the red stripe to get launched high into the air. This skips an entire platform section and gives you a commanding view of the arena.
How to execute:
1. Approach the candy cane from the left side at a 45-degree angle
2. Jump onto the curved section and let momentum carry you up
3. At the peak, use your double jump to reach the adjacent higher platform
4. From this vantage point, you can spot the next safe zone before anyone else
β±οΈ Phase-by-Phase Guide
π’ Early Game (Phase 1)
The arena is full size. Stay on the outer edge of the rotation β most players panic and cluster in the center. Watch the candy cannon timers: they fire every 10 seconds with a 2-second sparkle warning. When you see the sparkle, move perpendicular to the cannon's direction.
- Position: outer edge, opposite direction of rotation
- Aggression level: Low β focus on survival, not elimination
- Key resource: Save shield power-ups for later phases
π‘ Mid Game (Phase 2)
Tiles start disappearing from the outer ring inward. This is where most players get eliminated. The disappearing tile pattern follows a clockwise order β learn it in practice mode. Move into the second ring and use the candy cane structure as a safe zone marker.
- Position: middle ring, near candy cane
- Aggression level: Medium β start eliminating players who panic
- Key resource: Use dash to reach tiles before they disappear
π΄ Late Game (Phase 3)
Only the center platform remains, with a few scattered safe tiles on the outer ring. This is a free-for-all for the final 3-4 players. Cat Egg's soft landing passive shines here β when tiles disappear under you, you recover 40% faster than any other character.
- Position: center platform, slightly offset to anticipate movement
- Aggression level: High β this is the final showdown
- Key resource: Use knockback attacks to push others off the center
π Hazard Timing
Disappearing tile order: Clockwise from the 12 o'clock position
Candy cannon pattern: Fires every 10 seconds, alternating left/right cannons
Map rotation speed: One full rotation every 45 seconds
Phase transitions: Phase 2 at 45s mark, Phase 3 at 90s mark
