Castle Clash
π Overview
Castle Clash is a 4v4 capture-the-flag map set in a medieval castle. Two bases are connected by a dangerous bridge and an underground tunnel. Panda Egg is the best choice for flag carrying β its high defense makes it extremely hard to knock over.
β οΈ Hazards: Bridge traps, cannon misfires (can launch you off the map), enemy grab attacks
π₯ Team Guide
Opening: Split into roles β 1 defender, 1 carrier, 2 attackers.
Mid game: Use the underground tunnel, not the bridge. The bridge is a killing field.
Late game: If your team has the flag, group up around the carrier. If the enemy has it, split up to intercept.
πΊοΈ Shortcuts
β‘ Cannon Launch
The cannons on each side of the castle can launch you across the map. Stand on the cannon platform and wait for it to fire.
π Pro Tips
- Panda Egg is the best flag carrier β extremely hard to knock over
- Never use the middle bridge β it's the most predictable path and enemies will camp it
- The underground tunnel is safer but slower β use the cannon launch for quick escapes
- Communication is everything in team mode β use quick chat
- Designate one player to always stay at your base as defender
β‘ π° Catapult Launch
In Team mode on Castle Clash, the catapult near the castle gate is not just decoration. You can use it to launch yourself over the castle walls directly to the flag room, bypassing the main entrance which is usually heavily defended.
How to execute:
1. Locate the catapult on the left side of the outer courtyard
2. Stand on the catapult platform and wait for the counterweight to drop
3. Press the interact button when the catapult arm is fully pulled back
4. You'll be launched over the castle wall into the upper floor
5. From there, drop through the hole in the floor directly into the flag room
6. This route takes 5 seconds vs. 15-20 seconds through the main entrance
β±οΈ Phase-by-Phase Guide
π’ Early Game (Phase 1)
The first 30 seconds is a rush for map control. Your team should split: 2 players go for the center flag, 1 player sets up on the catapult, and 1 player defends the base.
- Role split: 2 attack, 1 defend, 1 flex
- Aggression level: Medium β establish map control
- Key resource: Communicate the enemy's initial movement with quick chat
π‘ Mid Game (Phase 2)
Once teams have settled into positions, this is a stalemate phase. The team that breaks the stalemate first usually wins. Use the catapult for surprise flanks. Coordinate with your team to attack from 2 sides simultaneously.
- Strategy: Catapult flank + main entrance push simultaneously
- Aggression level: High during coordinated attacks, Low otherwise
- Key resource: Save shield power-ups for flag runs
π΄ Late Game (Phase 3)
The final phase when one team has 2 flags. The losing team goes all-in on offense. Defending team should pull back all players to protect their flag. The catapult becomes a defensive tool β launch enemy flag carriers off the wall.
- Strategy: All defenders near the flag, one player on catapult duty
- Aggression level: Defensive β don't chase kills, protect the flag
- Key resource: Use knockback items near the flag room entrance
π Hazard Timing
Catapult reload: 12 seconds
Flag respawn: 30 seconds after capture
Round length: 3 minutes
Half-time flag swap: At 90 seconds
