Underwater Escape
π Overview
Underwater Escape is a vertical survival map where water levels rise continuously. Players must climb through multiple elevation levels while avoiding hazards and other players. The last egg on the highest platform wins.
β οΈ Hazards: Rising water (instant elimination), jellyfish shock zones, collapsing coral platforms
π‘οΈ Survival Guide
Early game: Stay one level above the water β don't camp at the waterline.
Mid game: Move up with the water level. Use bubble indicators to find the next platform.
Late game: Center platforms are safest. The edges are dangerous.
π Pro Tips
- Bunny Egg's high jump is the best ability for this map β it reaches upper platforms in one jump
- Fish eggs create bubbles where the next platform will spawn β watch for them
- Don't rush to the highest level early β you'll be exposed to attacks from below
- Stay near edges in mid-game, move to center in late game
- The water rises in predictable intervals β use the pause between rises to recover your position
β‘ π Hidden Underwater Tunnel
After the air bubble refill section, there's a hidden tunnel on the lower left wall that bypasses the entire jellyfish gauntlet. This is the riskiest but most rewarding shortcut in the game.
How to execute:
1. After passing the air bubble cluster at the 40-second mark, look down
2. There's a dark opening in the lower left wall of the underwater section
3. Dive down and swim into the opening β it's easy to miss
4. The tunnel curves right then up β follow the glow
5. You emerge right before the finish line, bypassing the jellyfish completely
6. β οΈ Critical: Make sure you refilled at the last air bubble cluster before attempting this. The tunnel takes 8 seconds to swim through and there's no air refill inside.
β±οΈ Phase-by-Phase Guide
π’ Early Game (Phase 1)
The start is a shallow pool with currents pushing you in different directions. Swim against the current on the left side β it's slightly slower initially but sets you up perfectly for the air bubble section.
- Position: left side, swimming against the current
- Aggression level: Low β the currents make combat difficult anyway
- Key resource: Watch the current timer β it changes direction every 12 seconds
π‘ Mid Game (Phase 2)
The air bubble section determines your race. You need to hit 3-4 air bubbles to have enough oxygen for the rest of the map. Don't rush through β a dead egg can't finish. The bubbles respawn on a 20-second cycle.
- Position: follow the bubble chain, but don't panic-click
- Aggression level: Medium β players low on oxygen are easy targets
- Key resource: This is where you decide: hidden tunnel or main path?
π΄ Late Game (Phase 3)
If you took the tunnel: You emerge at the final stretch with a 10-second lead. Just don't mess up the last jump.
If you took the main path: The jellyfish gauntlet requires precise dodging. Jellyfish pulse every 3 seconds β dodge between pulses. Don't try to push opponents here, focus on survival.
- Tunnel path: Final jump + finish line. Easy.
- Main path: Dodge jellyfish pulses, wait for openings
- Key resource: If low on oxygen after the tunnel, you made a mistake
π Hazard Timing
Current direction change: Every 12 seconds
Air bubble respawn: 20 seconds
Hidden tunnel: 8 seconds swim time
Jellyfish pulse: Every 3 seconds
π₯ Best Characters for This Map
β‘ Bulu β Faster swimming speed makes every section easier
π§ Penguin Egg β Cold water resistance (minor advantage)
π₯ Classic Egg β Balanced, works fine here
π± Cat Egg β Not ideal, but soft landing helps on the final jump
